Fire Tests

Baltic Fire Laboratory conducts the tests for certification purposes. Our tests performance is verified and assessed by a Third party that is authorized in the recognition of laboratories. The technical competence, accurate calibration, measurement and testing are performed in accordance with:

- IMO requirements, 
- ISO standards,
- European Standards,
- FM Approval Standards.


Contract Submission Process

1.    Submission of a document requesting the test of product/system.
2.    Determination of the scope of tests upon on the basic technical documentation of product/system in consultation with Classification Society or Certification or Approval body
3.    Preparation of an agreement and protocol on product sampling.
4.    Signing the agreement by the client.
5.    Advance payment for testing (fixed % of the agreement value).
6.    Supplying the test samples with full documentation. The documents should bear date and signature.
7.    The Laboratory begins the testing after receiving advance payment, samples and documents. 
8.    The terms agreed in the contract may be achieved only if the Client fulfils the provisions in The Agreement signed.
9.    If the result of the test is negative, the Laboratory may, at the request of the Client, terminate the testing. After the testing is finished, the Laboratory prepares the test report and sends the final invoice to the Client. 
10.    After the invoice is paid, the Laboratory delivers the test report to the Client in the way determined in the agreement.
